Abstract:
Since there was little concern about paragraph in Persian language, the aim of this
workshop was to make a bridge between sentences and paragraphs in order to
write a coherence and organized article.
Issues that were presented in this workshop were:
• Definition of a paragraph
• Definition of a topic sentence
• The role of other sentences in a paragraph
• Cohesion in a paragraph
• Different kinds of paragraphs
• How to organize an article
